The Meaning Behind the Logo
The name “Shigemasu” was chosen by the 10th-generation Shigetaro Takahashi with the hope that “the measuring cups used for sake would multiply”
—that is, that people’s smiles and happiness would spread far and wide.
Shigemasu sake adds color to the milestones of people’s lives, brings smiles to the dinner table, and warms the heart.
The desire to cherish every single moment still lives on in this name today.
The Shigemasu logo embodies 300 years of pride passed down through the generations and a gentle yet powerful spirit that extends into the future.
